1981年出生于哈尔滨，现居北京，于1999年前往英国，在伦敦巴特利特学校研究设计和建筑结构。她身为设计师的第一份工作是艺术家艾未未在一个项目上的共同协调者。2004年回到北京，成立Naihanli&Co设计工作室。2011年在艾未未的艺术指导下，李鼐含参与了广州双年展的设计—“未命名”部分，同时被伦敦提名为2012年度最佳的设计博物馆。在2010年米兰设计周和2011年北京国际设计周，她是官方主办单位认可的主打设计师。80后的她说对自己人生影响最大的阶段是童年时期，她的心理年龄也停留在五岁半，所以，不管是最初可以动的集装箱系列家具，还是最新的Flammable蜡烛，她设计的产品都具有玩具般的游戏性。

After graduating from Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) Naihan returned to Beijing where she first collaborated with Ai Weiwei as coordinator for the Jinhua Architectural Park development. She later worked as independent architect and designer for architectural and graphic design projects of different scales. Her finished constructions include Keruo Space, a space for practices in Caochangdi, and the Royal Kitchen restaurant and shop inside the Forbidden City.
